Who is "LDS Bucket List Tours"?
Simply put, Elizabeth and Mark Stoddard are LDS Bucket List Tours -- the 100% owners and operators. Some facts you should know about Mark and Liz Stoddard: 1. Our first travel company was AmeriRuss Cruise company, the first international tour/cruise company authorized to do business in the Soviet Union. That was 1991. We held/led more than 150 cruises/tours for more than 20,000 people on the Volga and 3 other rivers in the USSR. 2. Before starting AmeriRuss, we owned an institute teaching Americans entrepreneurship and keen investment strategies. We taught those same principles in the USSR, China and Cuba after Premier M. Gorbachev's Minister of Higher Education invited us to lecture in the USSR. The first foreigners to ever address several of the Soviet Polit Bureaus. Before that and after, Mark was the CEO of the largest newsletter and convention company, Ex. Dir. of a free market lobby in D.C., an owner and CMO of a vehicle transmission company, and VP of Marketing for a US advertising firm. 4. Elizabeth is an artist and graphic artist who spent the first 20 years of their marriage doing the hard stuff -- raising 7 wonderful children while living in D.C., California, Arizona, and Utah. 5. In 2020 we were retired and thinking, "What is the MOST fun thing we've done in business?" Traveling and taking friends around the world. Our favorite trip was taking people to the USSR so we decided to do that again. As we were selling out our first cruise for 2022, Putin did his awful number on Ukraine and that killed our Russia trips. So we pivoted and took the guests who wanted to, on a yacht cruise in Croatia. We've been doing 4 or so cruises/tours/safaris every year since. When you contact us... A. You're contacting us... at our home or through our personal cell phones. No menus to wade through. You will speak mostly with Elizabeth who cares for sales, and creates brochures, our website, special handbooks and materials we give you for each tour. B. Liz loves to talk to you and make sure all of your questions are answered -- no middlemen on this. A direct line to us. C. Elizabeth and Mark scout out all of our trips, create and development them, finance and conduct EVERY tour. D. They do all the logistics with help from their daughter Becca Jo. Denise is our other vital link to you as our CPA. That's our company. We are at your service and know you'll have the greatest trip or cruise possible because we design and run it. Be Bucket List Travel means: 1. We take you to experience some of the Wonders Of the World. WOW or Bucket List experiences. 2. We prepare everything you need to so you can relax and have fun -- the route, events, hotels, buses, guides, internal flights and ships. 3. We gather great groups of people for you to travel with. Your fellow travelers are some of the nicest people you'll ever get to know. Friendships are the natural outcome that bless our lives. Most tours max out at 24 guests. 4. We help you prepare for your trip: you get travel advice before you leave with a TRIP PREP page for each trip and A Unique Handbook... "I love the handbooks you create for each trip. "Tons of pertinent information regarding both the trip itinerary and background info on the sights and countries we’re visiting. "The small size is perfect for tucking into spare corners of our suitcase. They also make a great way of letting others know exactly what we’re doing on the tours." See the Trip Prep pages we prepare for each trip on the website. 5. Most days on the tour, start the day with prayer, song and brief devotional thoughts offered only by volunteers. We also find ways to attend church whenever possible as well as meet the people. 6. Friends keep coming back and it's so fun to grow our circle as new travelers join the old. This circle of friendship blesses all our lives. 7. Our trips are planned for independent travelers so you not only get group tours, but free time to explore on your own as free days and hours are built into the itinerary. 8. You get personal service -- call night and day and speak to us personally. If we're not available we'll call you back. This business is very personal to us and we don't leave it to others to take care of our friends. 9.
