"My Australian brother-in-law took a look at our itinerary and said he couldn't do what we are doing for this price!  We knew this was a deal we couldn't pass up!"       Gordon and Susan Christiansen

Note from Mark:       Liz  and I curate and personally escort Bucket List tours. We escorted this tour many times. Liz's mother is from Australia, her father served a mission there and they later served as senior missionaries. I served in Sydney, Brisbane, and Canberra.
We keep our groups small so we can make this a personal experience where you can go at your own pace - fast or slow with many options along the way. Yet so many things included.

NOT INCLUDED
  1. International air - Kayak.com is a good site for comparing airline prices.  You can call Medina, who books our airline tickets if you want to see what her prices are-- she'll quote a price and you can shop it for 24 hours. Call 888.985.5038 and she will help you.
  2. Travel Insurance - We recommend you check out https://www.travelinsurance.com/
  3. Visas or ETAS - You cannot enter either New Zealand or Australia without this visa or Electronic Transfer Authorization (ETA). One couple got their NZ ETA but failed to get their Australia ETA and were prevented from traveling from NZ to Australia. Getting an ETC is simple to get online and don't cost much. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS.
  4. Free-day events are optional. These are up to you and we’ll help you book them before departure.  See OPTIONAL TOURS
  5. Souvenirs (everyone needs a spare boomerang).
  6. Most lunches & dinners are on your own - Most group meals take too much time & money, with limited menus. So we provide most breakfasts and 4 special meals in Hamilton, at the Maori  BBQ, Walter Peak gourmet buffet, and on the Sydney Harbor Gourmet Dinner Cruise.                                       Many small cafes & restaurants along the way and our guests enjoy sampling the wonderful food available at reasonable prices.
  7. A note on New Zealand and Australia restaurants: Often, you order your food at the bar or with a waiter who takes all the orders from the table where you're seated. When you complete your meal, you pay by going to the bar, telling them your table number and the items you ordered. You'll be given the total with a receipt, and instructed to tap your credit card on their credit card machine. No waiting for a waiter to bring you a bill. AND...in both countries tipping is never demanded and if it shows up at the register, it is usually suggesting a 5% gratuity. Works great.

           Why You Need Trip Insurance
  1. Protection Against Unforeseen Events: Traveling can sometimes come with unexpected twists, from flight cancellations due to severe weather to personal emergencies. Trip insurance provides a safety net, covering non-refundable expenses, and helping you adapt to changes without the stress of financial loss.
  2. Medical Emergencies: If you fall ill or get injured while traveling, medical expenses can skyrocket, especially abroad. Having trip insurance ensures you have access to medical support and coverage for medical bills, often including emergency evacuation if necessary.
  3. Lost or Delayed Luggage: There's nothing quite as anxiety-inducing as losing your luggage mid-adventure. Trip insurance can help you recover costs for essentials if your bags go astray or are delayed, keeping disruptions to a minimum.
  4. Peace of Mind: Simply put, trip insurance offers peace of mind. Knowing you're covered lets you focus on enjoying your travel experience without the "what-ifs" hanging over your head.
  5. Assistance Services: Many trip insurance plans offer 24/7 assistance services, providing help with everything from finding a local doctor to replacing a lost passport.
  6. Financial Default Protection: If a tour operator or airline goes bankrupt, trip insurance may offer reimbursement, so you're not left high and dry.

Travel Insurance is an investment in your peace of mind and security as you embark on your adventures.
